October 2022: Peter’s paper, “Pose Measurement and Contact Training of a Fabric-Reinforced Inflatable Soft Robot” is accepted to SII 2023. Congratulations Peter!

August 2022: The BRAT group receives an NSF MRI grant to purchase a Barrett WAM arm in collaboration with Professors Macdonald and Tipton here at TU. We’re excited about the research we can do with this exciting piece of equipment! Applications will include the study of lithic stone tools, grasping and manipulation with the TU hand, and low-cycle fatigue with complex states of stress.

August 2022: Bryce Day receives a Wilfred Woobank Fellowship and rejoins the group as a Ph.D. student. Welcome back, Bryce, and congrats on the fellowship!
