Blank Slate: Journey of Unknown & Unbound

Step into a world of mystery, magic, and discovery with Blank Slate: Journey of Unknown & Unbound, an original adventure game developed by the 2023–2024 senior class of the Computer Simulation & Gaming (CSG) program at the University of Tulsa.

In Blank Slate, players awaken in a strange valley with no memory of their past—only the knowledge that something powerful lies dormant within them. As they explore a whimsical world filled with mystical creatures and ancient secrets, players gain the ability to absorb traits and powers from the beings they encounter. This central mechanic opens up a rich system of strategic choices, encouraging players to shape their journey in unique ways.

Our CSG students developed all visuals from the 3D models to custom textures.

From the hand-painted look powered by a custom shader to an evocative original soundtrack, Blank Slate offers an experience that feels like stepping into a living storybook. Players will venture across lush landscapes, solve quests, and eventually confront the creeping decay threatening their magical realm.
