As an award-winning educator, he’s known for creating innovative, hands-on courses that blend artistic creativity with technical skill and promote interdisciplinary collaboration among students.

Prior to joining the CSG faculty full time, Chris served as the Central Shop Supervisor for TU’s School of Art, Design & Art History and taught 3D modeling and animation as an adjunct faculty member. His courses, cross-listed between ART and CSG, have already made a significant impact on students interested in both interactive media and traditional fine arts.

Chris’s professional and teaching background spans institutions such as Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Pittsburg State University, Metro Technology Centers, and Oklahoma City Community College. He has developed and taught a wide range of courses, including 3D Modeling, 2D/3D Animation, Game Design, Foundational Drawing & Design, and digital media tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

In both his teaching and professional work, Chris emphasizes user experience and interface design, helping students understand the psychology behind interactive systems to ensure their creations are intuitive, engaging, and player-focused.
