CSG Students Shine at 57th Annual Gussman Student Exhibition

We’re proud to announce that three students from the Computer Simulation & Gaming (CSG) program received awards at the 57th Annual Gussman Juried Student Exhibition, the premier showcase for student art at The University of Tulsa.
Open to any student who completed an ART course during the academic year, the Gussman Exhibition highlights outstanding creative work across disciplines. Since CSG 4283 and 4293 are cross-listed as ART courses, several CSG students were eligible—and their work stood out.
🎨 2025 CSG Award Recipients:
-
🥈 Annett Lau – 2nd Place
-
🏅 Ryan Pederson – 4th Place
-
🎖️ Ava Boswell – Merit Award
Juried this year by Atlanta-based curator Yu-Kai Lin (@kailinart), the Gussman Exhibition celebrates innovation, technique, and artistic vision. It serves as the capstone exhibition of the academic year for the School of Art, Design & Art History, and being selected—let alone awarded—is a significant accomplishment.
These recognitions underscore the creative depth and interdisciplinary talent of CSG students, who blend technical skill with artistic expression in ways that push the boundaries of digital and interactive media.
Congratulations to Annett, Ryan, Ava, and all the students who showcased their work at this year’s Gussman!
