Ranked the top game design program in Oklahoma by Animation Career Review, TU’s CSG program stands out for its collaborative, studio-style approach to game development. Students across animation, music, programming, and design work together on a multi-semester capstone game, gaining real production experience long before graduation.

The Computer Simulation and Gaming program at TU partnered with Riverfield Country Day School to introduce middle schoolers to game design through the theme The Hero’s Journey. Riverfield students visited campus to attend a lecture, playtest TU senior projects, and will return to pitch their own games next month.

Freshmen kicked off their TU journey by transforming simple shapes into imaginative 3D creations during Unbox Your Imagination in 3D. Guided by Professor Burris, students got hands-on experience with the same tools used in gaming and animation — and walked away with something they built themselves.
