Dapeng Zhang

Dapeng Zhang, a PhD candidate at the University of Tulsa’s Cyber Studies School, studies under Prof. Weiping Pei. He earned his B.S. in Engineering and M.S. in Electronic Information from Xidian University in 2020 and 2023. His focus lies in applying machine learning algorithms to assess security and privacy in crowdsourcing systems. In 2022, he visited McGill University’s Machine Learning program and achieved (A-/A) and (A/A) in Computational Applied Statistics and Practical Machine Learning, respectively, and while in the program, he participated in kaggle’s Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing algorithm competitions, both ranking in the top 5%. Dapeng possesses strong independent research, teamwork skills, and leadership qualities. He and his team have secured numerous awards in Internet innovation competitions, while he consistently holds the title of Outstanding Student Leader.
