Adriaan Lombard

Adriaan Lombard is a Ph.D. student in Cyber Studies at the University of Tulsa, holding degrees in Human Resource Management and Communications Management. He previously served as Vice-Chair of the HR Board at the University of Pretoria, and his research focused on investor relations and market image building within South Africa. During the pandemic, as an HR and Communications Manager, he enhanced systems at an Alzheimer’s clinic to ensure more efficient onboarding and communications. He earned a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the prestigious Lund University in Sweden, securing awards for his sustainable projects. Adriaan worked within various innovation hubs in Scandinavia which include, Venturelab, MINC and Skane Innovation. His research spans Teamwork barriers faced in Pakistani health tech start-ups and Barriers faced to implementing sustainable practices within the South African wine industry. Adriaan’s internship as an Innovation/Business Development Consultant for an AI-security start-up underscores his dedication to innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
