Dmytro Kashchuk is a first-year PhD student at the University of Tulsa. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Economics, and Business Organization, and a Master’s in Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity and entrepreneurship, both from the University of Trento, Italy. His research interests include network security, web security, Web3, phishing, AI, security economics, and large-scale vulnerability scanning. He is proficient in C#, Java, and Python, and has published research on large-scale CORS misconfigurations with a focus on DoS attacks, presented at the Trust, Privacy, and Security conference in Atlanta in 2023. Outside of academia, Dmytro is an active Capture the Flag participant, bug bounty hunter, and consistently improves his skills on HackTheBox.
