Jake Mead

Jake Mead is a PhD candidate at the University of Tulsa’s Cyber Studies School, under the advisership of Prof. Stephen Flowerday. Jake earnt his Bachelors degree in Information Systems and Economics from Rhodes University, South Africa, in 2018. Subsequently, Jake worked in industry for nearly 5 years at a locally grown consulting company, BSG (Business Systems Group). During his time in consultancy, Jake worked with the largest banks and insurers in South Africa, delivering on projects spanning cyber security and business strategy, digital transformation and systems implmentation. His research interests are in cyber security, digital transformation and information security culture.
