Juseob Lee, Ph.D.

Juseob Lee is an assistant professor in the industrial/organizational psychology program. Before joining the TU community, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems of the University of Central Florida to assist in research on human-robot interactions after graduating from the same university with a Ph.D. in Psychology.  

His work was published in the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Stress and Health, Human Performance, and Human Resource Development Quarterly. He has received intramural and extramural grants from the University of Central Florida and the Sunshine Education and Research Center. He hopes to continue his research on improving people’s lives at work throughout his career.

Emma Fain, M.A.

Emma Fain is an Industrial and Organizational Psychology Ph.D. student who recently graduated with her master’s from the program. As a graduate student, Emma has spent time as a Hogan Assessments Data Science Intern, a McKesson Technology Strategy Intern, a Graduate Assistant supporting research and teaching, a member of the Program Evaluation Committee, and the I/O Ph.D. representative for the Graduate Association for Students of Psychology. Her research interests include personality, leadership, recovery, and stress management. She plans to continue working in the applied side of I/O but has an interest in becoming an adjunct professor one day. 

Emma is originally from Dallas, TX, where she visits frequently to see family. She attended a small undergraduate university in Tennessee before moving to Oklahoma. Now living in downtown Tulsa with her Goldendoodle Perry, she has grown to love the area but still travels any chance she can get!

Ken Barton, M.A.

Ken Barton has previous work experience in academic and non-profit organizations in both the United States and Japan. He is interested in understanding aspects of work-life that are associated with negative outcomes for employees and organizations, and how we can mitigate those negative outcomes. Ken’s goal is to improve people’s work lives to help them reach their personal and professional potential. When not taking classes, Ken spends time in Tokyo with his wife, Satoko, his daughter, Sarina, and their two pet dogs, Choco and Bebe.

Landon Waters

Raised in a military family, Landon is a second-generation college student studying Industrial/Organizational Psychology. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army as an Apache helicopter mechanic. During his eight years of military service, he was deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq.

After the military, Landon served as a police officer with the Department of Defense where he made a significant impact as a supervisor and field training officer. He then obtained his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Southeastern Oklahoma State College. Landon is also a Leadership Fellow with the Student Veterans Association (SVA) and is the Director of Communications for the Tulsa University SVA chapter.

Landon’s educational goal is to obtain his PhD. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His research interests are in the human capital and organization of federal and military organizations, servicemembers, and veterans. Currently, Landon spends most of his time studying or helping others across various TU organizations. In his spare time, Landon studies philosophy, practices Zui-Quan, and cooks gourmet meals for his wife, three children, and three German Shepherds.

Peter Mai

Peter is a first-generation college student studying Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His post-grad plans include changing how workspaces are structured so that people feel more satisfied with their job. He wants to enable workers to be as productive and satisfied as possible through managing stress and burnout. Outside of school, he enjoys working out, playing video games, and trying new things.
