On Tuesday, September 10th, from 5p-6p, TIFT will host a virtual roundtable discussion with former fellows in the program. The goal of this conversation is to show what the TIFT program looks like from the eyes of educators who have participated—both their experience as a TIFT fellow attending seminar and the impact it has on their teaching after they’ve completed the program. We’ll feature three TPS educators who participated in TIFT last year:
- Tina Berry, Fine Arts, Will Rogers High School
- Francisco Martinez, History, East Central High School
- Tara McKee, English, Booker T. Washington High School
We’ll open the roundtable by having each teacher discuss a unit they created in the program. Then we’ll shift to a conversation with the director of TIFT, Daniel Thater. Finally, we’ll end with a question-and-answer session from the audience.
As always, please reach out to our director, Daniel Thater (daniel-thater@utulsa.edu) with any questions.
