- Attendance at seminars and other institute events
- Submission of an original, well-researched curriculum unit
- Completion of a final survey
Fellowships come with a $1,700 stipend for those who complete the program.

Eligibility Requirements for Teachers
1. Be a full-time Tulsa Public Schools classroom teacher (at least 80% of the school day).
2. Intend to remain in the same school or in the TPS district in the year following seminar participation.
3. Demonstrate relationship between applicant’s subject and grade level, and the proposed curriculum unit. In addition, applicant needs to make a clear connection between proposed unit and seminar topic.
4. Be willing to promote and sustain TIFT during and beyond the year of seminar participation.
5. Commit to completing Fellowship requirements, including attendance, participation in seminar, and the writing of a curriculum unit.
6. Receive acknowledgement by school principal that applicant’s proposal is consistent with district standards and applicant’s teaching assignment during the seminar year.
