The paleontological collection includes:
- Fossil specimens – These are often non-provenanced specimens used for teaching and outreach.
- Archaeological material – Fossil specimens from archaeological sites on temporary or permanent loan from the countries of origin. For a list of sites we are working on please see our page on research projects.
- Casts – fossil specimens casts of vertebrate paleontological and archaeological material from various worldwide sites, namely from the Near East. Our most extensive collection is from the early Pleistocene site of ‘Ubeidiya.
